A new and innovative way to remember, QR Codes allowing you to connect beyond the grave.

Welcome to our first blog, and what will hopefully be an insight to the latest technology allowing you to connect with your loved ones beyond the grave.

What is a QR Code (Quick Response) Code?  How does this new technology work?

QR Technology or quick response is everywhere, and may people do not appreciate just how versatile the use of QR codes can be.  When linked to a website large amounts of information can be made available just by scanning the code using a smart phone or similar device.

A QR code, which can be cut into granite or metal, can be placed just about anywhere.  Websites can hold words, pictures even videos can be used to remember.

QR codes are a technology that desperately wants our attention. They appear everywhere from supermarket shelves and magazines to hiking trails and Headstones.

Never heard of a QR code? You're looking at one right now. Scan the image at the top of this article, and it'll open a link to the mobile version...of this article. Very meta!

As this is our first blog, and we thought we would start a bit of background knowledge into the history of our QR Codes….

QR (Quick Response) code is the trademark name for the two dimensional barcode system. It was originally invented in 1994 by Denso Wave, a Toyota subsidiary, as a way to track vehicles as they were assembled, and to scan components at high speeds. While Denso Wave does hold the patent on the technology, it has granted free license on it, going so far as to publish the spec online, and allowing anyone to use it.

Like most people we have very fond memories and we take photos and videos to capture these.  The standard memorial / remembrance monument will have approx. 25 letters to sum up all of that persons lifetimes memories and character – leaving all those fond photos and videos in the grave or to only those with immediate access.  These QR codes will transport you to those moments and what makes this truly remarkable, also allows others such as their family members for generations to come!

Can you put a price on lifetime memories? Well these QR codes not only have the magic to share these experiences but come at one off competitive prices, with no subscriptions nor renewals.
